Rollercoaster ride!

Things are not always easy... what a week!
After receiving confirmation of catalogues dispatch from my printer, I happily email my client to confirm that all is on time. 50 boxes are being delivered to Somerset overnight, in time for their trade show.
A couple of days later, I receive a mild panicky call from my client informing me that the catalogues haven't turned up.
I am reduced to turn into Miss Sherlock, tracking their order. 50 boxes should be easy to track you would think?
My printer confirms that the catalogues did indeed leave their warehouse when expected, so we turn to the couriers to see what has happened. The delivery consisted of a two part journey.. one tracked, one to go... and that's where the mystery begins.
The couriers have no idea where our catalogues are. They review the CCTV to find out who where what and how.
My client's increasingly - and understandably - get more nervous as time goes. I do my best to reassure them. Positive thinking people!
After 36h of hunting, they finally get tracked (hopefully the fact that there was two pallets worth of paper did help their investigation!)  - avoiding us being forced to do a reprint.

I receive a very happy phone call the following morning from my client telling that they have got them (Hurray!) and that they are very happy with the outcome. They love them!

... Everybody loves a happy ending!

They are now as we speak on a plane to Las Vegas for the show. Let's just hope that it a smooth operation, and that we avoid a drama sequel.
